Poliphony, a term which in music describes the simultaneous combination of two or more tones or melodic lines. This concept is explored through the potential of mark- making, by developing automatic and expressive markings and more controlled gestures which combine different rhythms. The drawn line is considered as connector of flowing energies between mind/ body / emotion transcribed onto paper and manipulated in various ways, using different media to create an immersive experience. A sense of immersion is highlighted by the use of long paper scrolls, that reinforces an idea of falling and gravity, connected to the initial imagery inspiration of fallen angels.
